World Journal + QiaoBao: OCMH ED Eva Wong at Brooklyn Asian Pacific American Heritage Month Celebration

During Asian Pacific American Heritage Month, OCMH Executive Director Eva Wong joined South Brooklyn community organizations at the Brooklyn Asian Pacific American Heritage Month Celebration in Bensonhurst.

The event’s theme, “Celebrating Unity, Embracing Diversity”, highlighted cross-cultural understanding, community connection, cultural roots, and the next generation of community leaders.

ED Eva Wong shared mental health information and resources, helping open a conversation about stigma, support, and mental health in Asian Pacific Islander communities.

When trusted community partners create spaces for culture, connection, and conversation, they help make care more visible, accessible, and rooted in community.
