Behavioral Health Workforce - Find Jobs and Training
OCMH is launching a pilot Behavioral Health Community Health Worker (BH-CHW) apprenticeship in early 2025. Developed in collaboration with CUNY, Hostos Community College, the Healthcare Career Advancement Program, and nonprofit health and human service organizations, this will be the first nationally recognized apprenticeship of its kind.
The following Employer Partners are currently seeking applicants for this paid apprentice position. Apprentices will complete paid work hours and virtual coursework with Hostos, earning incentives for each class. Candidates with connections to the communities and populations being served, as well as prior PSW, human services, or community engagement work experience are encouraged to apply.
