This panel conversation, moderated by Jennifer 8. Lee, explores current issues and challenges in the Asian-American community. Historians Erika Lee and Jia Lynn Yang offer historical context for the xenophobia and anti-immigrant sentiment in the wake of COVID-19. Representatives from the Library (Margaret Li) and the Mayor’s Office of Community Mental Health (Rachel Steimnitz) offer tips and resources for New Yorkers facing coronavirus and related issues.
